Brad asked me what I wanted to do for Mother's Day this year and several things ran through my head. Church, a photo shoot, some quit time, a clean house, dinner out, shopping, shopping without a kiddo, a nap.
How do you decide?
Well we did a photo shoot at the park on Saturday
The pictures turned out gorgeous!
Brad did a great job!
I couldn't resist ;)
We went to church Sunday morning and then home for lunch. Brad and Izzy
hung out while I got to go to the mall, alone, and shop for some new cloths. It was wonderful and normally when I am at the mall and see kiddos who are fussy I think, "Oh maybe it's nap time." Or, "Do they need a snack?" This time, I selfishly thought, "I left my kiddo at home so I could have a stress free shopping experience,
get it together lady"
Then Auntie Stephie came over and watched Izzy while Brad and I went to a movie and dinner. That's right, shopping and date night made for a great mother's day! I felt like I didn't spent much time with Izzy on Sunday, but since I am a 'stay at home mom', it was a nice change of pace.
I had a wonderful weekend with Brad and Izzy, all while thinking about Liam, my son who is a part of our lives in my heart and memory although not physically.
