Swim Lessons

Izzy had her first month of swim lessons starting in March. They were one
night per week for four weeks.
She is nearly fearless in the water! She has always liked the bathtub too
include sticking her head right under the faucet of running water.

She dunked her face right into the water when Brad and I would blow bubbles and try to get her to mimic us.

She didn't seem bothered when he blew in her face and dunked her.

She would even go under water herself to pick up the ring off the bottom.

If we sit her on the edge and count, "1-2-3, or ready, set, go" she would
lunge towards us in the water.

She also spent a lot of time waving at Noni, Auntie Steph, Uncle Cory, and Mary who all came at one point or another to watch.

The only thing she wasn't a fan of is the 'back float' but we will get there. We are very excited for this summer a lots of days swimming in the pool!

EASTER!!!

I was so looking forward to Easter this year knowing that Izzy
would be walking able to, for the first time, 'hunt' for eggs.
Noni got such a cute Easter basket for Izzy (I forgot hers in Des Moines).
She also filled eggs with 'puffs', such a great idea Noni!!!

It's holidays like this when I feel so blessed to be experiencing them
with my child, the way it's suppose to be. It also makes me sad
to think about not getting to hunt for eggs with Liam, and for all the other
moms out there who are not able to do these things with their children.

Izzy's Easter basket from Noni was filled with eggs and some
REALLY cute new cloths!

Izzy enjoyed the puffs

It was a beautiful day!

And of course, what is a holiday without a
'professional' photo shoot?

So thankful to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus
and to be able to enjoy the holiday with Izzy, family, and friends!

Colorado

This was Izzy's 3rd trip to Colorado since she has been born, her
5th trip flying somewhere. She travels well, "Thank the Lord", although
it's getting a little harder as she gets more mobile and just
wants to walk around. Nothing a lot of pouches, puff, raisins, cheerios,
and Sesame Street can't take care of :)

She swung for the first time and absolutely
LOVED IT!!!!

We had lots of swing time and she also liked
going down the slide ;)

After we realized that we had our flight time wrong by 12 hours
and missed most of the day Friday, it was a short two day weekend but
we packed it in with lots of fun!

It is so much fun seeing Izzy play with her cousins Aiden and Olivia.
She is old enough, and mobile enough now to run around with them, and
can keep up 'a little bit'.
Hi-Fives all around. The big kids had fun too ;)

We miss our friends in Virginia Beach, of course we miss the beach but being back in Iowa with friends and family and being a direct flight away from Denver
is really nice!!

We're going to the Zoo!!!

A zoo pass was the best Christmas present
Thank you Noni
We have been probably 6 or 7 times already
this season and we get to take friends!

Izzy loves the monkeys and points
while saying, "Ah Ah Ah." I love that
she is starting to notice the animals
and what noises they make.

She also likes the fish. We went to the water where
a little girl was feeding the coy. They kept slashing water
up when they were swim over each other
to get the food. Izzy thought it was hilarious!

She can also say, "Bird". Well, her version
of it but I know what she is saying.

She also likes to get out and walk around. She wasn't quit sure
about feeding the goats and kept showing the sign
for "all done".

Looking forward to next time :)

St. Patrick's Day!!!!

St. Patrick's Day is a BIG deal for the Glynn Gang
and this year was even more special because is
was both Brad and Izzy's FIRST year in the parade!!!

The theme was Irish Mash 40th Bash. It was the
40th anniversary of the parade in CR

It was a beautiful day and everyone did a great job!
We won "Best overall entry"

We even have our own "St. Patrick"

The youngest and oldest Glynn Gang participants

We were "Toucan-ed"
during practice one night
Well played Glynn's, well played

Someone was all tuckered out by the end
of the day ;)
 Until next year...
